Agreement

This website is operated by Taste Bender, 316 College Street, Toronto, Ontario. By using the website, placing an order or making a reservation, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

Products, prices and availability

Everything is made fresh in small weekly batches, so quantities are limited and items may sell out. Photos are for illustration and handmade products vary slightly. Prices are in Canadian dollars and exclude taxes and shipping, which are shown before you pay. We may change prices, products and availability at any time, and we may correct errors, including after an order is placed; if that happens we will contact you and you may cancel for a full refund.

Orders and payment

Your order is accepted when you receive our confirmation email. Payment is taken securely by Square at checkout. We may decline or cancel an order, for example where an item is unavailable, a payment cannot be verified or an address cannot be served; if we cancel a paid order you will receive a full refund.

Shipping and delivery

We currently ship within Canada only. Delivery estimates are provided by the carrier and are not guaranteed. Please make sure your address is complete and that someone can receive perishable items promptly; we cannot be responsible for parcels left unattended or for delays caused by an incorrect address. Returns and refunds

Because our products are food, we cannot accept returns. If your order arrives damaged, incorrect or not as it should be, email tastebenderoriginals@gmail.com within 48 hours of delivery with your order reference and a photo, and we will replace it or refund you.

Allergens and food safety

Our kitchen handles wheat, milk, eggs, soy, tree nuts, peanuts, sesame and other allergens, and we cannot guarantee that any product is free from traces of them. Please read the product information and contact us before ordering if you have an allergy. Follow the storage instructions provided with your order.

Reservations

Reservations are free. Please arrive on time and tell us as early as you can if your plans change, so we can offer the table to someone else. We may release a table if you are more than 15 minutes late, and we may cancel or change a reservation where necessary; we will let you know if we do.

Catering and wholesale

Catering, distribution and Bender Flex enquiries are requests only. Details, pricing and any deposit are agreed with you directly and confirmed in writing.

Your account

You can sign in with Google to see your orders and invoices. You are responsible for activity on your account; tell us promptly if you believe someone else has used it. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

Using this website

Please do not misuse the website: no attempts to disrupt it, access areas that are not public, use automated tools to place orders or bookings, or use it for anything unlawful. The Taste Bender name, logo, recipes, photos, text and design belong to Taste Bender and may not be copied or used commercially without our written permission.

Liability

We take care to keep the website accurate and available, but it is provided “as is” and may occasionally be unavailable or contain errors. To the extent the law allows, Taste Bender is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Ontario’s consumer protection laws.

Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, and the courts of Ontario have jurisdiction.
