The Biscone began with one question: what if the buttery layers of a biscuit met the crumb and flavours of a scone? It became our own pastry—made from scratch and built to go sweet or savoury.

Nothing at Taste Bender begins with “what is everyone else doing?” It starts with an idea, a craving or a problem we want to solve—and then we keep testing until it tastes like us.

Some ideas come from Chef DK’s Korean-Canadian background. Some come from restaurant kitchens, Toronto neighbourhoods, Canadian ingredients or the simple question: “What if we tried it this way?”
Every product below has its own starting point. This is where we share the experiments, the decisions and the reason it earned a place at Taste Bender.

THE BENDWICH
Katsu Bendo
A Japanese-style katsu sandwich filtered through Chef DK’s Toronto kitchen: crisp cutlet, soft bread, cabbage and our signature yellow sauce. Familiar parts, rearranged into something unmistakably Taste Bender.
THE DEEPER COOKIE
Brown Butter Cookies
We brown the butter in-house because that extra step changes everything. It brings a toasted, nutty depth that makes a familiar cookie taste warmer, richer and more grown up.
THE SIGNATURE FINISH
TB Yellow Sauce
The sauce was created to pull the Katsu Bendo together, but it quickly became a Taste Bender signature. Bright, savoury and made to wake up whatever it touches.
COMFORT, CONCENTRATED
Soup Purées
Our soup purées begin with the flavour base, not the water. We build them slowly so the customer can bring home the concentrated heart of the soup and finish it their way.
MADE TO SIP WITH IT
Bottled Drinks
The drinks are designed alongside the food: clean, balanced flavours that refresh without taking over. Matcha, cold-steeped tea and coffee each get the same from-scratch attention.
